August 18 & 19, 2021
Our Cairn Terrier Club Of America specialty was held on
August 18th & 19th in Greeley, Colorado. With the Cairn Terrier Club
of Denver’s specialty on August 20th.
Pandemic Sweeps was held on Wednesday the 18th. Judges by Mary Beth Havens.
Our
young boy Runrig Baby It’s Cold Out At Janwell, (Brrr) placed second
in the 18 to 24 month class. His sister Runrig It’s Snow Secret, (Frolic) won the 18 to 24 month bitch class. These were very tough classes. As some of the competition had completed their championships
and GCH’s as well!
Brrr was shown by his co- owner Jeanette Cromwell. Frolic was handled by breeder owner , Vickie Shotwell.
Thursday was the regular classes judged by Joe Vernuccio.
Brrr was 1st in open dog. Frolic made the cut in a very large class of 19 bitches in the bred by class!
Friday
was the CTCD specialty show, judged by Mrs. Louise Leone. Brrr was once
again first in open dog. Sister Frolic, took second in bred by on this
day.
During the first day of the Greeley Kennel Club show under judge Jan Ritchie Gladstone, Brrr was placed 2nd in open dog.
The
second day of the Greeley Kennel club show, under Judge Melinda L
Lyons, Brrr once again placed 2nd in open dog. With his sister Frolic,
going 3rd in Bred by.
On Sunday August 23, of
the Greeley kennel club cluster under judge Jamie Hubbard Brrr was
awarded winners dog for a 5 point major win! On this same day, sister
Frolic was not to be out done. Frolic was awarded winners bitch for her
own 5 point major as well as a CTCA goblet win. Frolic went into win
best of winners!
We are immensely proud of both these youngsters who have been shown very Limitedly!
