This day also brought good news from here in the US.
Ch Runrig Armed And Dangerous, "Gunner" went Best Of Breed at the ICKC show in Lansing MI. This completed his Grand Championship! He was handled by Alice Saunderman, under judge Bill R.W. Edwards. Gunner is the second in this litter of 4 champions to complete his GCH.
On Sunday, Gunner was again handled to another Best Of Breed win by Alice Saunderman! Gunner is owned by Gail Morbito, and co-owned with breeder, Vickie Shotwell.

Pumpkins And Puppies!
The puppies will be leaving for their new homes this week.
We will be sad to see them go, but know they will have a wonderful life in their new homes!

Runrig Armed And Dangerous earned a 3 point major to finish his championship, under judge Anne Katona. "Gunner is the fourth out of a litter of five to finish. He is sired by CA AM CH Quarrydene's Gambling Man x CH Runrig Hotter'N Hades.
Gunner was shown by Allison Saunderman at the Monroe Kennel Club show. Gunner is owned by Gail Morbito and co-owned and bred by Vickie Shotwell. We are excited to see what this boy will now do in the best of breed ring! Photo to be posted soon!

At the Lake Minnetonka Kennel Club Show, Ch Runrig Champaign And Diamonds, "Taylor" was awarded BOS under James G. Reynolds. This was Taylor's first weekend out as a special. This win earned her a 5 point major towards her Grand Champion title.

At the Mid-Continent Kennel Club show our girl Taylor, earned her 3rd major by judge Frederick R Stephens. She was awarded Winners Bitch, Best of Winners as well as Best of Breed over specials for a 4 point major. This win completed her title, to make her CH Runrig Champagne and Diamonds! She is the second in the litter to finish her title. Taylor also finished totally from the bred by class!

Runrig Fast Cars And Fast Women, "Marty" was awarded his 3rd major to finish his Championship. Marty was awarded Best Of Winners under judge Linda L. Wells at the Terrier Club of Michigan show. As always Marty was shown to this win by his owner Jill Martinez. Congratulations to Jill and Marty!!

At the North Arkansas Kennel Club show Runrig Champagne And Diamonds was awarded Winners Bitch, Best of Winners and Best of Breed under judge Joe Tacker. On Sunday Taylor went Winners Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex under judge James E. Frederkisen.

Runrig Fast Cars and Fast Women was awarded Best In Sweeps at the CTCA National Roving Speciality held in Forth Worth Texas. Marty was awarded this honor by cairn breeder judge, Barbara Kornylo. As always, Marty was shown by his owner Jill Martinez.
GCH Runrig Dangerously Adorable, earned a second Award of Merit from Judge Chris Carter. Izzy received this honor at the CTCA National Roving Specialty Show held in Fort Worth, Texas.
Runrig Champagne And Diamonds was Awarded Best Junior In Sweeps at the Cairn Terrier Club of Greater Detroit under judge Lori Polack. Taylor placed 2nd in a very tough bred by class judged by cairn breeder, Marie Hogarty from Ireland.

At the International KC of Chicago show held Feb. 25 th, Runrig Fast Cars And Fast Women was Winners Dog for 2 points. Thanks to Judge Penny Hirstein. As always Marty was shown by his owner, Jill Martinez.

Super bowl Sunday was a super day for Runrig Cairns!! During the Southeast Arkansas Kennel club show, Runrig Champagne And Diamonds was awarded Winners Bitch as well as Best of Breed! Thanks to judge Keke Kahn for this win!!

The New Year has started out well for Runrig Cairns!! At the Minnesota Specialty on Jan 6 Runrig Fast Cars And Fast Women was runner up in sweeps. Marty was shown by his owner Jill Martinez. Marty and Jill's winning streak continued onto the next day at the Land O'Lakes Kennel Club show. Under judge Charlotte McGowan Marty earned a major going Winners Dog and then was awarded Best Of Winners for 4 points!!
